In Chains

I know, I know, I've been neglecting this blog. Forgive me?

Last week I made a tongue-buckle English bridle for a friend's Newsworthy, and stupidly didn't get photos before I sent it off. It was good, I promise! Loved laced reins too *sigh*

While I was out today I stopped in at a fashion accessory shop, and while I was there I found an anklet for $3 with the tiniest silver chain. Just look at how small it is - that's it next to the 'usual' 2mm chain I use, from Darice Jewellery Designer.

There is about 44cm worth of chain on this $3 anklet. Sometime this week I will fiddle with it and see if it is usable (sometimes with the really small chain, finding jump rings that fit through the links is difficult), and if it is usable then I will buy lots more next week. I don't know if I will ever find chain this small again, so if it is usable then I better stockpile it!

The other project on the table is a(nother) Western bridle for Chip, my Mozart resin. He has a new saddle that is more in scale with him, so of course he needs a new bridle. ;) I have nearly finished it so will have pictures up shortly.
